WGN News: Volunteers help homeless prepare for dangerously cold temps

ChiGivesBack has taken to the streets to support members of the homeless population amidst arctic level temperatures. There have been reports of homeless persons being found on the street frozen to death. This is an alarming tragedy. While there are homeless shelters and warming stations available for members of the homeless population, many of the community members have elected to take residence in tents citing the way their previous experiences at shelters.

The CGG goal is to help as many people as we can. Sandi Robinson and John Boddie from our team spoke to Tom Negovan about why our organization has taken to the streets to help out.
