ChiGivesBack Recognized 75 Chicago Public School Teachers at the 2019 #Teach2Give Honors

ChiGivesBack’s honored 75 Chicago Public School teachers by providing them with classroom resource and decoration kits. The organization received over 400 CPS teacher nominations and selected 75 honorees after an internal nomination review. #Teach2Give will prevent 75 CPS teachers from having to dip into their personal savings to build their classrooms. The organization was joined by over 300 guests at The Godfrey Hotel - Chicago on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, including local community leaders and elected officials.

The 75 selected teachers are set to receive classroom resource and decoration packages valued at $150 - $250 each on Tuesday, August 20, 2019. 100% of the 75 teachers being honored attended the honors reception — round of applause, class is in session.
