ChiGivesBack, Inc.'s COVID-19 Hospitality and First Responder Fund Delivers an Impact

We wanted to say thank you for your support of our COVID-19 Hospitality and First Responder Relief Fund -- we were able to have impact valued over $25,000 because of you. We would also like to thank our corporate sponsors during this time: Tito's Handmade Vodka, Lyft, PepsiCo, Do312, Roti Mediterranean Grill, 312Balloons and Vital Care Industries.

Together, we were able to provide critical and needed support to our community and lift up front-line workers who were still on the clock as the world came to a screeching halt. Here is a snapshot of our collective impact:

  • We distributed over 6,000 face masks to communities in need

  • Provided 100 cups of coffee to First Responders in partnership with Sip N Savor Coffee

  • Distributed $100 micro-grants to 75 displaced hospitality industry workers

  • Distributed $7,500 in ride credits in partnership with Lyft to First Responders and low-income families

  • Provided 1,500 meals to senior citizens in partnership with Chef Ravi and Something Good in Englewood

  • Highlighted and supported five healthcare professionals, a recognition that came with a monetary stipend

  • Celebrated Mother's Day by passing out 170 roses to mothers on the West Side of Chicago in partnership with the Chicago Police Department

  • Celebrated Father's Day by distributing face masks and gloves to fathers in partnership with the Office of Congressman Danny K. Davis

  • Stood in solidarity with the Black Lives Matters movement by donating masks to local peace demonstrations
