CHIGIVESBACK SET TO DISTRIBUTE OVER 2,500 TOYS TO LOCAL FAMILIES ON CHRISTMAS EVE

ChiGivesBack, Inc. will provide a Christmas experience to a few lucky Chicago children featuring a gingerbread house made of balloons and additional special treats. The organization selected 50 families to receive fully sponsored holiday wish-list items and an additional 2,000 children to receive toys. Here are the current logistics:

·       Saturday, December 24 at 10AM -- Meet at Urban Prep Academy, 521 E. 35th, Chicago, IL.

o   The organization will distribute wish-list items to 50 Chicago families at 10:00AM and will open the doors of the event to the general public at 12:00PM for toy distribution.

“We are really excited to spend Christmas eve with Chicagoland families who are still in need of toys.  And we are especially happy for last minute sponsors who have has provided us with a host of additional resources for our toy distribution events. Our organization has been tremendously blessed this season, especially as we’ve heard stories about their being a current shortage of support,” said Sandi Robinson, co-founder of ChiGivesBack.

The event will feature a live DJ, 360 photo booth and gifts for parents of the children. To date, ChiGivesBack has provided 20,000+ toys to local children over the past few holiday seasons.
