ChiGivesBack Hosts 2nd Annual Friendsgiving Dinner in Englewood

ChiGivesBack, Inc. hosted a dinner for 200+ families from the Englewood community on Chicago's Southside with guest server, Jimmy Butler a current NBA star. Englewood has a poverty level of 42.2 percent and an unemployment rate of 21.3 percent. We are grateful to have partnered with Washburne Culinary Institute Chicago and Chef James of Fuze Catering and Events on this event.

We are very grateful for our friends at Jewel-Osco for sponsoring Friendsgiving — we are also grateful for Brad Rexroat and the folks at Columbia Sportswear for providing winter coats to our dinner guests. We’d also like to thank our amazing pool of volunteers, Chicago Police Department District 7, Chef James Sanders - Fuze Catering, Penthouse Sweets Chicago and our guest performers for the event.
