Local Groups Host Event to Celebrate Juneteenth

Chicago — ChiGivesBack, Inc. Paint the CIty and the Soho House Chicago partnered again this year for the second installation of their Juneeteenth Art Showcase. The event featured local artists who were tasked with painting images that gave homage to the importance of Juneteenth. It was a great evening of live music, beverages and the local community coming together. All of the paintings are being sold and 100% of the proceeds donated to support Paint the City’s art education program. Proceeds from the 2021 Juneteenth Art Showcase were donated to a mural design at Chicago Public School’s - Morgan Park High School..
